Just having a look at my 1st teamsheet and noticed a little inflexibilty on positions compared to using the numbers 1-11
Example last season
6 MF Zico (skill 23) - LM 7 MF Tabata (skill 37) - CM 8 MF clark (skill 23) - RM
So i could put my highest skilled players in certain positions (CM)
Not sure how positions in def & mid can if any affect games - but i like the option to 'position my players'
Now the position is done by skill
MF R_Tabata (37) - LM MF B_Schinstiger (28) - CM MF Ze_Roberto (26) - RM
Same for defence - highest LB to lower skill RB
Hope it's easy to understand where i'm coming from

I had noticed that earlier, think its something that we are stuck with, not sure there is any difference to be honest though.

There is no left, right, or centre. They're all just midfield, and it doesn't matter in what order they're placed.

Fair enough - I thought that was the case
But i've never quite understood the 'really technical aspects of the game' (perhaps that's why i do quite well)
But when i read the match reports i like to 'imagine the 'plays' in my head (Tabata with a lovely ball to Eusebio etc)
So perhaps now i've lost that aspect of the game ....
I know it's only cosmetic 'now' but i enjoyed the part of 'setting my team up' - as if it's a real team ....
Reality strikes again ....
