I don't want to sound harsh on league 1 but think this year it is there for the taking.
No one team stands out as a superforce this year and with a few good transfers anyone could be challanging, I could even see a team like Liverpool challenging and that after they done a remarkable job getting out of the second league.

Even a team like Liverpool!!! why thanks John ;D I know what you mean, after looking at the Elite Fixtures. i'd be having sleepless nights with those!!! This season, im looking at Marseille, Real Madrid, Ajax to be pushing for the top two places. Real Madrid i think can do alot better with that team but i noticed he like playing this L tactic. Andie looks to have added a few older higher skilled players and his squad is loaded with good 2nd 3rd 4th skilled players so i'll be interested to see what they do also

The only reason I mentioned your good self, is I believe you've over achieved as it is with Liverpool. But being the manager I know you are, maybe you could surprise us all again.
Sleepless nights is right with them elite fixtures, feel like going all out for cups and having a breather in this fella next year ;D

I am very happy to be starting at home but i think every game is a toughie, i will be happy to survive this season in div 1 i think IF i was to get promotion it would be too early for my team but then we shall see how the season goes, i still want to make a few more deals, so we shall seem should be a fun season no matter what happens.

well 2 home games for me and if the cup is kind to us and give us home ties, i'll be a happy man! what this means, is i can spend all my dosh and make some money straight away. If we get 2 home ties in the FA cup and a home game in the elite cup, that'll be us sorted for the season, wage wise.
Been watching the transfers with intrest
if honest at this point Real madrid look the strongest so far. Why malky sold his forward i will never know, as there is defenders flying all over the place at the moment and Prso has done nowt since leaving Valencia.
Marsielle i did tip to be one of the front runners, but i think as soon as lennon goes they might find it a bit harder than they thought. but it does depend on what steven brings in to replace him?
Liverpool and feyenoord are busy trying to balance there teams out and Celtic and Ajax and Barca havent done a great deal if honest.
As far as valencia, its on a knife edge at the moment, theres a couple of deals i would like to do, but if they fall through then its plan B (and C, D)lol but either way we will be stronger than last season. Our main priority is to score goals this term, and i think we will as the keepers here arent as high as Elite! actually nor are the forwards, we had the best defensive record in elite, so i dont see too many troubles in that department to be fair. As long as we have our shooting boots on we should be ok!

playing Barca at home isnt a bad start but they are a good outfit and have a good manager as well, so i think i might approach this one with alot of caution.
no matter what my team ends up like, i think it'll be a good test for life in division 1.
played Barca loads over the years so should be a great game to kick off the season?

I'm very pleased that we're starting away from home against Valencia. It could be a tough start to the season, but we're fairly confident and believe we'll be able to get something from the game. We're always hoping for three points, but would settle for a steady draw to kick start the season.

I have to agree with some of the comments; Real Madrid look the strongest on paper. They had a horrible season last term where the strikers couldn't score against an old lady in a wheelchair. They've certainly improved their stats up front and could be the force of Division One this season. Other teams to watch out for are Valencia, Marseille and Ajax, who I'll be trying to compete with for a promotional spot. I doubt Liverpool and Feyenoord will be able to challenge the top and I think Celtic could recover some old form and do the business, but I have yet to see this in Division One.
My final table prediciton:
Real Madrid Barcelona Ajax Valencia Marseille Livepool Celtic Feyenoord
As this is a fantasy game, I wouldn't take any notice of this...

My final table prediciton: Real Madrid Barcelona Ajax Valencia Marseille Livepool Celtic Feyenoord .. i like this final table and would settle for that at the end, concidering valencia has already been tipped by a few people to drop down another division. but saying that i have already completed 6 transfers now and well on my way to the next one, so wont be going anywhere without a fight lmao!

My final table prediciton: Real Madrid Barcelona Ajax Valencia Marseille Livepool Celtic Feyenoord I would take this if thats how it was to end, this season all i am looking for is too survive in div 1, my team needs a season or 2 too grow for the elite, but it would be nice to get into the elite, then i could be the first div 3 team to get into the elite. ;D
