Just looking at the age of my squad, brought in Cech the following season to bump it up even more.
The golden oldies were unstoppable, the amount of years you guys kept telling me, relegation would follow with the age of your lot and I'm still proving you wrong. Although my team is not that old anymore!!

Face it Gazza, up till season 10 you were just lucky. It's only after that point that Rangers' performance reflected your true lack of ability. We all know that once a manager achieves success, he just has to keep doing the same thing to remain successful. Beats me why you threw it all away. Everyone has their fishing rods out today ! My team are young and have been 7 or 8 eight seasons in the making, I am looking forward to the Aberdeen rebuild when your old farts retire, as for Man City.. they are another feeder team developing someone else's players, couple of young prospects and a team full of pensioners, exciting times ahead ! Lucky until season 10, keep taking your medication buddy, I sacrificed glory for a challenge mate, I was all for being a quitter just like scott was, told Malky I didn't have the time any longer, but decided to quit all other management games and start from rock bottom. Threw nothing away, and I did something different, there's your history lesson and I will now remove the hook from my gob Get a room you pair of kn0bs Sacrificed glory for a challenge Rangers have all but concluded this seasons stadia and team activity, maybe one or two last minute additions, but the core of the team is in place and an almighty 18k stadium upgrade has been completed, bringing the Ibrox capacity up to a whopping 150k, only 4 teams in Elite have stadiums at this capacity and Rangers are proud to be one !
It has taken a good few seasons to get the stadium up to max and I have sacrificed bringing in big name players for short term success, now we can concentrate on our team and getting it right on the park, last season was a nightmare and probably the most humiliating league campaign ever, a wee cup run papered over the cracks.
3 experienced players have been brought in for a bit of stability, 28 rated Diego has signed a two year contract and will be a key player in the heart of the Rangers midfield, also veteran Italian defender Cannavaro who is 27 rated has signed a contact that will see him finish his career at Ibrox, 26 rated midfielder Yaya Toure also made the move to Ibrox and will have a big say on any success Rangers have over the coming 4 or 5 seasons.
Rangers also secured a major signing in capturing the hugely coveted Hemoth , I have chased this player for 2 or 3 seasons now and must admit it's a sensational signing for the club, the deal costing us a record £50m, passing the former record of £40m spent on Frank De Boer, this move allowed Van De Vaart the chance to move to Osasuna for first team football.
Rangers still have a very youthful squad and have added some great experience and also managed to bring in one of the best young midfielders in the game, also we have four or 5 exciting youngsters on our books, the time for talking on the pitch is now
Here's to a great season lads. Start of the season aims were slightly more than whats being stated now the season has collapsed... What about your last season in the Elite, surely you would've mentioned how relegation was part and parcel of your long term plan... Next SeasonRemaining in the Elite division is the main aim, looking down into the first division shows you the strength their is in the upper reaches of the game, a very daunting task. A cup run of some sorts is an absolute must, A quarter final or semi final spot would be acceptable for the team to continue the progress. Ahhhh, sorry, I should stop highlighting all this shouldn't I, managers don't like it when their own words haunt them, maybe your main aim changed mid season or something

A lot of time and effort went into that post mate, I appreciate it, quite sweet actually.
My words aren't haunting me, I tried a few things that didn't come off, I was spared relegation by league reconstruction, one thing I can say though is that I have never played the system, and that's been my downfall, so if Ahmed is your idea of how it should be done, then that's cool for you.
I am not the greatest of managers, but I have built a decent team and have in the past had some success, I am here for the long haul and am not a quitter, that's a fact.
Good luck this season, as for some of your logic, its a case of beam me up Scotty !

Me quitting really annoys you and chris eh. Tbh it would embarrass me that you have both stayed around and yet could soon be lower than newly formed teams. But hey, managers like rags and ahmed play and get enjoyment from winning. I get enjoyment from transfers. Maybe you both enjoy losing

Valencia are full of AMs and have only scored 10 goals all season!? How are they 2nd? it's a bit worrying that we aint scoring a lot more with all those extra shooting stats we have going into the pot. it's either the supply aint there or keepers are too good? However it's results that matter not how many goals you score, so with only 10 games and a massive 30 points to play for the entire division is in a relegation battle including leaders Villa. i've been rebuilding #givingIn since Lloris left, kind of realized you can have the shittest team/manager ever but with a top end keeper can win a good majority of matches. With our current team i'm liking how different it is from the norm, just need to find a way to get the most out of them. Havent been on the forum much lately, cant be bothered with the negativity and constant bitching if honest and I hate the whole transfer police thing, it should be hidden from us normal users and discussed in private. its not, its like a witch hunt at times, which brings the game down on all levels IMO

Rangers and Roma should have followed the Munich approach.
Both would have won this argument on the first page then.
Only two born winners in this game John Raggett and Bayern Munich.
