When are these pair going to be stopped? a 26 rater for a 23 rater?
Oh let me guess, his shooting will be used to justify it. He has 0 goals for the season so far, so why would you get rid of a star middie for an attacking mid who doesn't score?
Because its your brother.

We will await a respose from both managers on this deal, i questioned it also and couldnt see why Tone would want such a deal!

17 in shooting and only 22 years old simple. Only 3 skill points behind the old man. Nothing more to say

I have to agree it's a rather poor deal for Newcastle, but I suppose the potential is there for Moussa to be a better player than Toure. Potential isn't always the same as reality though.

you only have to look at newcastles squad to see this is exactly the sort of player they sign with his sub skills and all, plus he's a decent youngster - personally i wouldnt have gone near this deal but in the context of the newcastle squad is just about makes sense.

OMFG Tony WTF where you thinking? You need to check your emails, all those official EFL newsletters have been over looked! The ones that tell you all the official rule changes in the world of EFL?
Your NOT allowed to deal with friends, family or one of Celtics 5 teams. All transfers must be vetted by the transfer guru (scott) and if you don't the internet troll will do it anyway. After that the 10 users on the forum will decide you fate? All deals must be fair on all 10 sides and teams must copy each other in what they do. Valuations on players are based on main statt only and age is no factor. In short, all your deals will be complained about??
In all seriousness has anyone after months of bitching even looked at Newcastle's team over the last 10+ seasons?? They buy/trade for all those extra statted players, it does fit their profile if honest. Trading a 30+ years player for a 22 years player makes sense, plus being double statted holds value!
Now let's ask Real Madrid, Barca and Porto how much those 25 rated AM's are worth??
So a 23 rated 22 years AM must have value??
If when releasing players we got core value plus years left in the game as standard, my player is worth a lot more!
The game dictates value not managers IMO

really not sure what everyone is seeing so bad here tbh.
as soon as I saw the age gap and the better shooting I thought fair deal. giving up an older player for younger is needed sometimes anyway, so to lose a 31yr old for a 22yr aint bad at all, only losing 3 stats but gaining a player who can play AM with good shooting stats.
depends what both managers are looking for, if 1 is looking for someone a bit stronger in main stat and the other is looking for younger or an AM then it makes total sense.
I would not have classed the young AM as a bad offer for my Di Maria if it was offered (may or may not have taken it depending on my thoughts at the time on if I want the stronger main stat or another AM plus the age gain)

I have two points;
1 - Time and again deals are made between Tone and Andie and time and again, they favour one team.
2 - Regarding this AM and his stats. I have said it before, I will say it again, if the shooting of an AM actually meant anything in a game, maybe itd be a decent deal. But lets be realistic, Valencia have 5 AMs, 6 when this player was still there. They have managed 4 goals between them.
My point may be separate to this deal and relevant to the game itself, but when are managers going to realise there is no evidence to suggest that AMs actually score goals. After how many seasons, there is enough data present to clarify AMs do nothing the majority of the time. This player in question hadn't got a single goal this season. So why trade him for a far better midfielder?
I will tell you why...

your view on AM's is that of a fucktard.
your more likely to score goals from more shooting stats in the team, regardless of who actually gets put down as the scorer.
where I will agree on the fact the pair of them do lots of deals between each other with some looking a bit 1 sided..... I do not see this as 1 of them

Gosh, that's jolly rude.
I am yet to see any evidence that what you state makes any difference. What I do see evidence of though, is higher rated middies getting more assists.

Tone likes a one sided deal he's not in league 2 for no reason
