A transfer that I offered Benfica had been rejected for being one sided, meanwhile three posts below one that was contested between Newcastle and villa by a number of managers as being awful was overlooked?
I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing when it comes to making deals.
Here, I'll explain just for the record.
I offered P_Do_Shaw and 10mil for Benficas 18 year old 23 rated fwd.
Overpaying? Yes no doubt. A rip off? Fat from it.
Cashing in on Shaw whilst he has value makes sense.
Getting rid of a midfielder will enable me to play 433 and get more tackles. Makes sense.
The 18 rated fwd is the best fwd in the game for his age. Makes sense.
Ridiculous. And I will reiterate, there's a deal the majority contested that got ignored. Meanwhile my transfers get stopped?
That's the end for me I'm afraid.
Take it easy chaps.

Two managers experienced don't see nothing wrong with the deal myself, should of been accepted and seen if anyone contested it (but then that's a joke)
And agree a lot of mangers contested the Newcastle/Villa deal to no out come or reason why it's still been allowed??
Pointless objecting deals these days
If you go it'll be a shame mate, you got me in to this game but it's changed massively since it all started.

Scott paid over the odds, but it's what you have to do if you want a player
Theo has not been ripped off here

seems fine to me - a good player with 2 and a half seasons left v the best youth fwd with 15 years on him - i'd have thought the fwd would of cost more

Bit confused by this one - do people think I';m being ripped off or Scott? Genuinely don't know.. seems like a good deal for both teams, top young forward with a good chunk of bonus to come, but with lots of development needed (which I'm not able to give him) in exchange for a top mid but with only 3 season left and some cash. Whats the issue with this?

Just to be clear I rejected a straight swap offer at first then went back with a counter which was rejected then Scott came back with this offer... Also maybe you are missing the fact that although 23 rated he already has 45 shots and 7 goals to his name this season so is in line to get a good chunk of abs post season..

Fair process. Pause the deal, allow managers to have their say, then allow it or not on what has been said. So, here, more OK's than not. That having been said, I offered Scotty 6 good players for 3 decent ones of his. His reply - 'why on earth would I do that?' I pointed out he had 13 first team players, 1 on loan. Anyway, I'd ok it.

Both managers have been in the game a while the deal suits both team regardless if you think its one sided or no. I think this section should be for newbies so there team doesnt get robbed
