Checking Open Auctions will show forward 05 5th April. This is the one I rejected. Also note that Forward 07 is listed there as an unwanted scout mission, but that's Weah - I signed him as well. It would look like duplication has occurred in my opinion. Agbonlahor is therefore a void player, and the cup tie has to be replayed. I'm pretty certain of what I'm saying here by the way. Will it be looked into?

I checked an old post on bugs, by Andie (Val), it seems it happened pre-season as well. I'm %100 percent on this, maybe the developer could easily re-check my scouts to see that this one is indeed Crespo. I have messaged the developer Gaz, hope he has a look, cheers for eyes on though.

Happy for the guys to delve into it properly, I remember some scouts duplicating when rejected and seeing doubles on the auction list. not sure how that works with a scout being accepted, wouldn't both end up in the team?
But defo looks identical.
All I have done is see a player and bid on him tbh. wasn't till you sent me the offer for Crespo that I saw the resemblance, nothing I can do about a player I bid on. But fair play for seeing an error (if it is indeed and error), shame it wasn't seen when it happened though.

developerIs there a Log for how the signing of Crespo came about? Looks like he was Scouted on April 5th? I guess if he has the name original name as the player who became Agbonlahour then it must be the same player?

My 4 scout choices were 1.crespo (accepted) 2. Macheda(as he now known) (rejected) 3. Weah (accepted) 4. Forward 7 ( rejected) ......around 5th april - 7th april. I can see what's happened... the ones I signed, as well the ones rejected ALL went to open auction. I would not have noticed this, as at that stage of my career, I was learning the basics, and building a team.

It looks like when Crespo and Weah were signed, as you say they also went onto the auction list (under their generic names). The Weah twin is still there (Forward06 - 16.13M). So yes there was a glitch, but it was back in April. I don't see there is any real problem with this - effectively a couple of extra players have come onto the market from an outside source, and anyone could have bid on them since April. It just happens that they are the identical twin brothers of another couple of players who were also scouted at the same time. I don't see how it makes Agbonlahor a void player - he has been available on the open market since April.

So effectively, my scouts become everyone's scouts?

I see a very real problem here in that Juventus have been heavily disadvantaged. Having spent almost 29M on scouts, thinking they were mine, I would never have signed them if I knew they would be twinned. Also, had they not been twinned, porto and juve may well have done a deal with Crespo, say, for 12M. Add all that up, and the club loses out, whichever way you look at it. Also having read the scouts section in the Rules, I note the operative words are 'You' and 'your', and that only rejected scout missions are offered to other teams. I would be curious to know if a precedent has been set with a similar situation to this. I.e. was a duplicated player twinned before, or was the error rectified? Of course I will abide by the final decision regardless, I just want to know if we are adhering to the rules, or 'making them up as we go along'?

Largely we resolve a problem as it is found. Looks like we have a new precedent
