Going to rotate a few players in and keep the core of my team fresh for the league as it's my main focus, anything gained from the cups is a major bonus, can't see Chris giving the points up easy here and will be looking for revenge after we pipped them in Germany on week one in the league.

Milan derby is always exciting. as we have always done in the past we use cup games to reset fitness and give chance to our rotation players to prove that they belong in the starting 11. This game wont be any different. We will still setup to win but with our reserve and bench players. After a positive 1st round performance despite a loss to the Elite League team we were very happy with the effort our lads put in, we expect more of the same and hopefully we can take at least A point from this one.

Never beaten Marseille so know this will be a difficult game, looking to keep the momentum going though so will see what we can do.

Ajax a tough side. Playing top XI and looking to clinch qualification at first opportunity

Liverpool v Aberdeen
Away to my old club who are flying high top of division two so this is a potential banana skin, this is the important round of games for most, defeat and the last game could mean nothing, win and its all to play for
like most its down to priority and we want to get back to the Elite league next season, but we never drop key players, not even for cup games, finances are too important and every penny helps during the transfer market
looking forward to some very interesting midweek action

I'm holding little hope of getting a result as I'm cursed in the cups

Osasuna are our toughest opponents in our three opening games. We'd be more than happy with a draw and I think it should be evenly matched.
