We come into this game against Sao Paulo as underdogs. They're having a great season so far and have good quality across the field. We may be a bit stronger in midfield, but they're very tough at the back. We'll be happy with a draw even with home advantage. Three crackers this week; Santos v Bayern, Marseille v Ajax and Rangers v Osasuna. I think Santos will grab the win, Marseille and Ajax will draw and Rangers will just sneak it.
Big game versus an excellent Osasuna side who are on a poor run at the moment and must be due to come to an end soon, likewise my great run cannot go on all season and a team like Dillon's have the tools to dismantle my team.
The injury to our main midfielder is massive and being out for 4 games is pretty catastrophic in our efforts to keep pushing, I just hope the fringe guys can give me big performances in his absence, hopefully no more players get injured or suspended as it would be a shame to have my season come off the tracks this way.
Some big games this week, hopefully my main rivals all drop points.
Looks like a cracking week this week. Playing against Barcelona this weekend isn’t going to be easy so will have to be a bit more sensible so I don’t end up taking a heavy defeat. Think we will see Santos bouncing back from midweek cup defeat and Rangers power on again too, can’t see Celtic slipping up against Benfica and can see win for Madrid too but Ajax game with Marseille is too close to call for me. Good luck this weekend lads.
ianmcnamara: Can't believe we're in this posision with two games to go. We just silently crept up on Everton and capitalized. If I end up taking up a new challange at the end of the season leaving Schalk with a title win would be the perfect way to end my time there.
