I actually read that whole investigation thing again lmao. and there is a point i made on there:

that no one complains when i throw top rated players there way for peanuts. You all accept them. But no one bats an eyelid?

but i got slatted for bringing in an old 23rated player for a young 19rated plus 2 youths? and your comment saying ignore age! i was getting a top 10% player.

But you got a top 23 rated defender for 1, 17 rater! Ignoring age! Thats the deal i would of felt questioned your integrity?

yeah that whole thread made me laugh, some heated arguments back then!

Made me laugh looking at the deal John had investigated, not one person voted in favour of it haha.

you got slated cos, unlike Wilshere who had amazing potential, your players were bog standard, the sort most teams have in abundance. Remember, this was before the new scouts who get +2 to their stats, Wilshere really was a one on a hundred player back then. A fact lost now many good youths are popping out.

with the new youth rules, its harder now to develope a player too quickly, even Wilshere will always remain around 2 stats higher than his age, still a half descent player but nowt fantastic.

Hopefully for Steward the guy has a good progression later on?

no nothing fantastic, its really unfortunate for somebody like him, invests so much into his yth teams and the new rules made it impossible to make true stars which wilshere easily couldve been
