Ahmed i will send a teamsheet in, entitled "CUP" to malky. If you get one done in time for SATURDAY, just do the same!
If not we will sort one out, after this weeks update (SUNDAY)!

Anyone else think these cup replays are becoming a bit of a joke?
Surely there should be some sort of organised calendar, not just if you can sheet, here, there or anywhere then so be it!
I for one and rightly so look at your opponents fitness, suspensions, injuries etc, stivking in a replay can have a big impact on this, both for and against both teams.
Using this as an examle, say Valencia had 3 players suspended 2 injured, and 3 low on fitness, they were sitting mid table safe with nothing to play for, would they want to play their replay first or get the league game out of the way, getting a full squad to choose from?

Actually i do think the replay between myself and Ahmed would suit him better after the league game as there is a few fitness issues with Madrid?? As for the replays in general, i dont think it makes much differance when and where or how you play them, as most managers know exactly what there doing? But have to say, i think it should be decided on the day like the Elite cup! That way it saves trying to slot these games into the current fixture list! We already play group games, so in the knock out rounds it would be best just to get them over and done with? I aint complaining but i am comming up to my 7th game now in the FA cup, which is good for abs but it is proving a long hard slog, to be honest! I've got my league game this week, a replay and a teamsheet to do for Santos and if i get through another sheet to do for myself

I agree 100% with Raggett.
Popping in a game here or there has a massive impact on the following game, either good or bad it has a major impact and at the moment isnt set in stone as it shoul dbe.

As i said! it should, finish on the day!
If you work your calender out? it would mean replays on a tuesday or saturday? providing league games are mondays??
I suggested a while back, that later stages of the cup should run mid-week, purely to keep the intrest levels of managers who aint involved, and a shorter turn over of games!
I DONT MIND REPLAYS! As i can see the benefits to it! But if honest could be a pain?
Even though the only team to play replays in the last few seasons is Valencia, as i think it is an opportunity not only to play more games but to reverse draws to give you home advantage?
Which means more cash! Home advantage! and even a chance to sort out fitness! As league games run once per week the game engine see's cup games as a game the week after. Which means there is more advantages playing in the cup, because if you dont, your team is stagnent for 2 games whilst cup teams can seriously improve there team with that 1 extra game!
Its a flaw to be fair, where i think teams not playing in the cup should have fitness etc updated after each cup game?

sorry Andie I just see that now, I want see my main and reserve team before I do my team sheet, if you notes I use the cups games to build some player in the reserve, so is good if we wait tell Tuesday like Malky say in the message to us and the forum.

I have no problem with replays, just think they need to be set in stone so managers know what is coming

I have no problem with replays, just think they need to be set in stone so managers know what is coming Exactly, one cup should have replays but this should be set in the calendar, then every manager knows well in advance if they draw, when they have to sheet. As i've said before it's unfair to expect managers to be on here all the time, so a replay as happened this season could be missed by managers.
