AS Roma have certainly turned a corner after Kris took charge. They'll be fairly happy with another point considering Ahmed's recent wheeling and dealing. Real really went for it and had the better of the chances, but their weakest area has to be the midfield. Roma controlled that and were able to supply the front men well. Totti slotted home after 10 minutes and it looked like plain sailing after Kiessling dropped into a DM position to help out the three at the back. Real eventually countered with a quick break where their new hero, Gavilán pulled off another great finish after 26 minutes. The game got a bit heated towards the end and AS Roma's Cassetti saw red in the final few minutes. A fair result, but Madrid will be kicking themselves for not grabbing a vital win.

Like Roma, Juve controlled the midfield, but it was Rangers who had the best of the action up front; 10 shots on target and only one in the net. Perhaps Flood scored too early for Rangers to keep the lead, but Loba will be happy with the point which keeps them above the very bottom. They have some very important games coming up, including two six pointers against Roma and Barca. After that, the final game against Porto could be the biggest one yet. Juventus were considered title challengers a few weeks ago, but two points in the last six games certainly won't do. If that sounds bad, we won't mention Rangers... The league is all but over for them, but they have shown some form in the cups. Win, loose or draw, it really doesn't matter for them. They'll be looking at fitness issues for the league cup semi final against Bayern.

FC Porto 1 - 1 Inter Milan
H_Postiga (62) R_v_Nistelroy (46)
Alan (FC Porto) (man of the match)
HT: 0-0
Att: 95,000
This was the game neither side wanted to drop points as it leaves Bayern with some breathing space. Zul went for one of his trade mark tactics with six at the back, but Lee was relatively cautious with a 4-5-1 formation. Porto did edge out Inter in terms of chances, but most of the play came from the Italians. A close game where either side could have grabbed the win.

Bayern Munich 1 - 0 Barcelona GAME OF THE WEEK
J_Altheer (70)
L_Davids (Bayern Munich) (man of the match)
HT: 0-0
Att: 70,000
There seems to be no stopping John's Bayern at the moment. Barca may be a tough cookie to break down, but 70,000 fans went crazy when Altheer lobbed the keeper in the 70th minute and put the home side in a prime position for the league title. Barca stuck six at the back, hoping to keep a clean sheet and snatch a draw, but Proto was overwhelmed with 12 great attempts and eventually had to let one in. Vital games for both sides coming up, but Bayern's six point lead could see them lift the trophy in the next round.
