Inter went into this knowing they have the stronger side and didn't need tactical advantage. They went for a safe 442N, but it might as well have been 1-0-0-1; one keeper and one striker. RVN and Vander had a perfect game and Roma must feel gutted after the number of chances and possession that went wasted. Bottom line was quality rather than quantity from a solid Inter side.

Rangers FC 0 - 0 FC Porto

Rangers didn't have much to play for, but Porto could have done with the points to push for second spot. Rangers have found some form, but it's all too late now. Success in the cups have rescued the season for them and they are, statistically, one of the most successful sides in the game this season. This game was an evenly matched encounter and neither side really showed the hunger needed for a win. Port seem content with guaranteed 3rd spot.

Juventus 0 - 0 Barcelona

This was one of the least eventful matches I've ever seen. Barcelona completely locked out the Juventus attack who didn't have a single shot on target. Barca hoped to snatch a sneaky three points and managed to get two shots on target, but it wasn't enough. Juventus must be content with the point which ensures another season in the top division. Barca still have a fair bit of work to do.

Real Madrid 2 - 1 Bayern Munich GAME OF THE WEEK

Bayern, this season's champions, had nothing but pride to play for. That didn't stop John from fielding a full strength side. Real were desperate for three points and started with tactical advantage which paid off. Pizarro grabbed the lead early on, but two quick goals, including an own goal, brought the lead to the home side. Ahmed switched to D tactic and ensured the three points to the home fans delight. Great result which gives Real a fighting chance for the final game against Rangers.
