a - get the good players
b - prevent others from having them
Lennon when I was at Inter was a prime example

Munich will never be held to ransom.
Too be fair I was not really bothered about getting him, but also didn't want him going for a cut price to a rival.
Players like Lennon and this forward are good but they are lost money as your never gonna see any of it back in reality.
Lennon maybe had some worth, but this fella ddn't as a bench warmer would not win me the league and had no sell on potential.
