Playing Chris again this season lol Different team different story I think?
Always seem to be drawn with Aberdeen, and AC Milan have always been my boogey team lmao

c,mon you should,
myself, Aberdeen and AC Milan have an average Defence, Mid and forwards of around 21/22rated! yours are about 25/26 rated?
You should storm it!
I'm just hoping that I can do enough for a chance to nick second and a home tie the next round!
But it'll be tough!

Aberdeen to spring a surprise on one of the two favourites Thanks for the vote of confidence John. We will just be enjoying the occasion, savouring the experience of playing the big boys, nothing to lose, etc etc...

It'll be tough, but it's certainly possible for Aberdeen to get through.

Well Roma well and truely spanked Ac milan and we came away with a narrow 1-0 win!
At this point I am a bit concerned over the fact we have played 3 and none of our forwards have scored yet??
Played 3 up top against Aberdeen will very little effect?
next up:
AC Milan vs Valencia AS Roma vs Aberdeen
Round 2 could see this group wrapped up early?
But I think Ac Milan and Aberdeen might have other ideas??

Disappointed to concede a late one at Valencia. We had the lion's share of the chances at 9-6, I guess the difference was between the sticks, with Lloris at one end and Flowers, newly called up from the reserves at the other. I'd like to claim tactical brilliance for playing 5 at the back in counter to Valencia's 3 up front but in all honestly it was a happy coincidence. Made for a balanced game though, it would have been a free for all if I'd played an attacking formation (and with Lloris in goal I wouldn't fancy our chances).
Now for the real challenge...
