Looking for Defender Tk 21/22

Hi Lads,
I'm on the lookout for a defender Tk skill 21/22 to buy or loan. I'm sure a few with bigger squads may be looking to loan/sell some guys at this level. If loaning i can guarantee good playing time.

New managers may not complete transfers before they have completed their first game as boss.

Its pre season Andie, i know rules are rules, but we cant have a manager joining pre season and not being allowed to make any improvements to his team. wouldnt you agree?

but if you think about it, it shouldn't make a differance if it's pre-season or not?

the rule is probably there to protect managers more than anything??

plus pre-season they can scout and loan, that should be enough really? at least they aint loosing players in deals.

As long as Malky oversees any irregularities i say there shouldn't be any problem here, helps any new managers along the way.

even if a seasoned manager takes over a club, pre-season or not! There is also the fact that finances need to be monitored. Allowing a new manager to take over and letting him spend cash isn't exactly wise until they understand wages etc??

In all honesty "I'm not bothered" as i know Malky etc will keep a new manager right!

Just making the point that:

The rule is there to 1 protect the game (stop managers flogging players before they even kick a ball) because there's nothing stopping a manager comming in, flogging players and leaving before there first game is played!

then there's the fact that allowing new managers to spend cash without even taking into concideration of the financial aspects of the game?

There's seasoned managers here that dont totally understand the financial side of the game. Letting a new manager spend money on scouts and players then the fixtures comes out and he only has a few mil in the bank and 4 away games, is a bit reckless really?

Not only that there is the fact that more players or higher rated players means more wages.

Luckily this does not apply to the new spurs boss, he has 5mil in the kitty league fixtures are even and has 3 home draws in the cup so should be fine! but i would question was that a factor when spending money?? Hopefully that was explained before hand!

Im not b1tching or trying to akward or anything! Just making sure that the rule is there and understood properly?

i can understand all that mate, to tell you the truth this rule was never put im place by me, when i first started the game in 2007 i cut and pasted alot of rules from another site cause i wanted a setup so i could get started. i know you have noticed it this time, but id like to know how many managers over the last 10 seasons HAVE made deals before they have played there first game? this is something we cant answer as ive not got that information, i think if it was during the season a new manager joined it would be used but cause its pre season and ive known this manager for over 10 years and spoke to him in depth about the game i know he is going to be playing for one season at least. so ive nothing to worry about there..

Im not concerned either about the manager, he seems to know whats what. plus i can imagine he will already know alot from you!

In all fairness it is a good rule and maybe we should either totally enforce it from now on without exception or possibly expand on it?

as i think it would be a good addition for the protection of the game and new managers. Plus it's already raised the point about finances need to be understood properly as it is a major part of the economy of the game and underlines the fact that transfers will have a huge impact on a teams prosperity or even the long term impact of a club??
