Guys just to clear this up
as long as a player is under 21 skilled you can donate and add 1000 abs onto his skills
so even if the player is 20.999 donating 1000 onto him will make him 21.999
so if he is 20.800 that doesnt mean you can only add 200 onto him
you can add 1000 making him 21.800

Strange rule which obviously needs changing Hardly seems like a logical approach. This will potentially give a higher value to a player who is 20.700 than a player who's 21.300...

I swear it down you lot ain't happy about anything?
If you have a player who is 20.999 and you have the funds to donate. Where's the problem?
Yes he is obviously going to be better than a 21.300, it's called a perk when donating!

i do get it! you want all 21 rated players to be donated on, as it keeps things neat and tidy and in your opinion fair!
the limit was up to 20.999. Now where allowed to go over and your moaning??
As i've already said it would be better to have it up to 21.999 but technically it is, just not for players already 21 rated.
Maybe malky might look at this again and increase it? Which i wouldn't argue about it at all. and would make it easier to understand for some people? as i spent 2 days trying to explain it and you all thought i was making stuff up!

I'm perfectly happy Andie as I don't have many players in need of donation. Surely you can see the predicament of having to leave a player out of your squad for the last few matches so he doesn't go over 20.999 and you can donate on him!

yes i can!
that makes it more of a dilema! ;D
All it is, is about putting players into catogories:
you want it to be either up to 20.999 or 21.999, 21.999 means a few more players qualify.
Malky wants it 20raters you can, 21 raters you carn't, but his way has an added incentive!!
I know why there has been a limit put on donations, but if honest don't know if Malky feels 20 raters should get a added boost for a reason!
But donations are there to help the game and as a reward for doing so we get abs. we where limited to 20.999 now he lets us go over, i'm not complaining!

andie heres my point
you have a player 20.999 rated, you can donate 1000 and make him 21.999
but if you have a 21.299 you cannot donate on him at all, when surely you shoul dbe able to donate 700 abs to make him 21.999?
The rule is set currently dictating who you can donate on, it should be changed to limiti8ng the player to 21.999 regardless of current stats, so if a manager has a 21.899 and wishes to add 100 abs he can
as it stands, a 20.999 player actually has more value than a 21.599 player, which is wrong

Just give up Scott. We've explained it repeatedly and he still doesn't get it.

Even though I never knew this rule exsisted I quite like it.
Yeah it means a 20.xxx has more value in some respects than a 21.xxx although it's gonna cost you a ten spot to do that.
Yes there are quite a few of us who try and help out Malky with the running costs, and he rewards us with some abs btu he's never said it's to make yourselve a superstar but granted your not gonna plough it into shite either.
Interesting that only one or two managers knew this rule even exsisted though!!

The rule doesn't bother me at all as I don't see the need for donations in my squad, apart from the odd youth. I think, however, it needs to be clarified. Was this changed last season then?
