Considering the price for scouted players this season, you are both along way off my estimation of their value.
If this is the case then I may as well keep them as back ups for my team, as would cost my a lot more to replace them via scouts.

My point exactly. Scout would cost £3m ish and the scout opportunity has gone. Here I wanted less than scout value and you get to keep your scout for another player.
