Bloody hell, the cup shocks continue.
Ahmed's red card nightmare continues.
Fabianski is fit again for the replay. But RVN may be rested?
Good effort by 10 man Arsenal, too.

Wow!!!!!
More shocks than Wimbledow today.
Amazing QF matches all the under dogs preformed wonders and either deserve or can consider themsleves unlucky not to be through.
Celtic matched us all the way and with 10 men for the majority of the game, a few penalty decisions went against us, but we can't grumble, it was a great cup tie that could have went either way.
We kept changing the style of play but nothing seemed to work and in the end we're happy to take them back to Munich.
Do I start or bring RVN on, either way I don't think he can last 90, it's just what will make the greatest impact.

Reading the Lyon game, I kept thinking when's he going D, Ahmed's gonna score if they don't, then boom 2-0 and I was still going Nail's gotta go D or C Ahmed scores and he'll get 2 but hats off to Neil they deserve to be in the semi for sure!

Lyon 2 - 0 Real Madrid!?!?!?Division 3 minnows Lyon have beaten Elite league giants to reach the FA Cup Semi Final!! The magic of the cup lives on!!! Really pleased, not just with the result, but we matched them, if not outplayed them in all departments and we were deserving winners at the end of the day. Had to check but was pleased to see Ahmed played a nearly full strength side. We changed it around a bit following a few poor results recently and managed to get it spot on. Obviously the loanees have helped this season and the veterans too but a few of the youngsters played out of their skin tonight and showed we have a bright future. Hoping for another home draw in the semi's to get another full house at the Stade de Gerland! Obviously hoping to avoid Bayern.....if only to beat them in the final!!

I've conceded a few late goals this season going to D towards the end of the game and trying to shut up shop. I decided if we were winning at 70-80 minutes we must be doing something right so refused to drop back and let them play! And in all honesty I never thought my winning conditionals would be needed anyway!!

Struggling to put the finishing touches on my replay squad, I'm thinking Stu might come looking for penalties and why not, he probably has more firepower in his squad overall, so how do I deploy RVN, I really could do with him being on the pitch at the end in case it does go the distance but would prefer to take him off, decisions, decisions. At least I don't have to protect my keeper a bit more this week, Fab is back!
Reyes is out but I have plenty of midfield cover to handle that.
Could be another good battle, i'm hoping home advantage might just be the deciding factor!!

Interesting results. We're pleased to make it through and seeing one of the giants drop out.

Great game John, as you say it really could have gone either way but our game plan worked a treat all game!
I knew we had to try and nullify the threat of RVN and for the most part it worked as he only had three shots and our midfield and defence worked so hard all game and matched the Elite champions every step of the way so i can't fault them one bit.
The replay at the Allianz Arena is going to be a tough one so not sure how I'll play it yet but i hope it'll be as good a game as this was.
