A great result and performance in our last home game of the season. We set up to try and control the game and create chances without giving Roma any space to hit us on the break. The way we set up allowed the team to switch between 541 and 433 depending on us having the ball and it seemed to work well so gives me something to think about in the 2nd leg. I must say though I was surprised with Romas choice of midfield line-up for such an important game, no Diego, Y_Toure, Rivaldo or B_Bannan instead we faced; W_Zaha MF 2 6 22 17 12 D_McHale AM 2 14 20 12 28 B_Celina AM 2 6 19 14 28 it looked like it was men against boys at times! Now we just need to do the same at the Olimpico Stadium.

Nope, I won't be parking the bus at all as I'm looking to get the win away from home.
All the pressure is now on Roma, they need to score four more than me so hoping for a cracking match with plenty of action!

Celtic and Marseille are the teams most people expected to see in the final, and are both ready for the move up to Elite. Marseille slight favourites I think but should be a cracker of a final.

We wanted to get another win rather than sit and defend the 3 goal lead, I decided to rest a few players as I felt we had a good enough squad to still get a result and luckily I was right. We were pretty comfortable all game until Cocu scored a howler of an own goal, after that we stepped up a gear and went on the offensive grabbing two goals in 4 minutes to secure the tie.
Now onto the final I have no injury or fitness issues so can chose from a full squad of players and formations. I think most would make Marseille favourites to win this so I'm happy to go into the final as underdogs with less pressure to get the result.

Well done to Celtic and Marseille, should be a cracker of a final, but the suspensions of two key Marseille defenders could open the doors for Stu's strikers.
Reckon Celtic are slight favourites.
Whoever loses will romp the 1st division next season - FACT !

Well done the 2 big guns, both will be tough opponents next year, Celtic could be a force.

I want to go up but I think we're probably two or three seasons away from being able to really compete in the Elite, so would probably struggle if we did get promoted.

Glad to get the win over the two legs, feel as still have a strong enough squad with the suspension having been without them last few games
Will be a very tough final with both teams being about even, been a long time out the top flight I'm itching to get back there so will be playing for a win
Should be a good game Good luck stu

Rampant Celtic Triumph in Camp Nou Thriller!Man of the match Phisbaena celebrates with the Celtic crowd after scoring his 2nd and Celtic's 3rd goal of the game.

How wrong could I be as from the first minute we took control of the game and never let Marseille back into it. Phisbaena, McGowan and Gandolfini chased and fought for everything and never let Marseille get into any rhythm while Mizuno and Damjanovic pulled the strings in midfield and in the end we ran out comfortable winners. I'm over the moon that I've finally managed to get Celtic all the way from the old Division 3 up to the Elite league, I just hope now that we’re good enough to stay there! Unlucky Lee I'm sure you’ll get promotion next season!

Well done Stu, well deserved and very one sided match, reckon a full strength Marseille could have been a different proposition, but the loss of two key defenders against your formidable strikers was always going to be a big ask for Lee. Was looking forward to the Glasgow derby matches next season, but not to worry, maybe get the chance to beat your lot in a cup Unlucky Lee, you will romp the 1st division next season.
