Afternoon Lads
First i would like to wish you all a happy new year, i hope 2015 bring all of you health, wealth and happiness!
Monday will bring the close to what i personally call a very exciting and successful season in EFL.
And what better way to end the season than with two massive games for four clubs who have performed well this season. The prize for the winners is a leap into a higher standard of football, but with that comes greater riches and more pressure.
After Monday comes my favorite task of updating everything for a new season, as always i will try and do this as fast as possible without making any mistakes along the way.
as we approach the end of another season, as always my mind starts to question the game and all it is, where we are and what i can do to improve it for all our managers.
i know some of you dont like change but i think you cant sit still and should always be looking on adding new features etc, after all football changes like everything else.
its fine saying add this and add that but that takes time and effort and coding etc, this game has been a success because we have kept it basic while trying to add a few things along the way!
Yes i always think things are missing but we can only 3$"$4 with the ~@$% we have some of the time.
some of the time i dont think you guys are getting enough out the game, i dont just want guys to sheet every week thinking its a chore, the level of forum activity has went right down hill so i want everyone to think if we need a change in the forum set up or the sections we have, i know life for all is busy these days but EFL gives us that distraction and enjoyment hopefully in between.
there are a few things i will be looking at pre season what you can all give you opinion on and any other ideas which COULD be included, sensible ones that dont cause our developer hours of pain,
if you feel the squad pages could be more personal to your club or more information added.
we also should have a look at loan deals and how they are structured to see if we need any change, if not change then the rules tightened up.
also from previous discussions what is acceptable when playing players out of position
i am also toying with the idea of restructuring the end of season bonuses for players 21 and under, where clubs can upgrade there training facilities which would then determine which bonuses there youth players would receive, ie level 1 (x5) level 2 (x6) level 3 (x7) etc
so again your thoughts would be interesting to hear.
after Mondays matches we will have the usual end of season manager of the season awards where i hope everyone puts in the effort to vote!
i will also be inviting managers to apply for the vacant Lyon managers job, in the past jobs like these have become available but managers like there clubs they have built over the years and dont want to leave, but im sure this position will interest a few!
again the job of updating a new season can be done a lot faster with more hands, ie updating squads, so if anyone does have the time to do this job let me know, but please remember this part of the updating has to be done carefully as i dont like mistakes lol
if theres anything ive missed please include it below
cheers guys
