In EFL a simlple formula can be applied:
IF AGE > 26 AND SKILL <= 20 THEN = WORTHLESS
I have discovered this, lets call it Garfsteins Theory of RealTransferFee.
I have two strikers 20 skill under 25 that NO ONE has offered on, so £4m for your two is very fair and current market rates.
If anyone wants one for £4m then please see my thread ;D

Quite right too . . . . Odd though aint it that a 22 year old is worth more than a 26 year old?
Realistically you wont have either in your roster in 4 seasons time, so kinda irrelevant really.
I think we should trade cows, beans and camels rather than cash, worked well for generations you know?!

To be honest, there are teams out there who don't have 20 and above rated players accross the board. A value is only determined once a team decides to sell to another team at a certain price, so let's not get into an argument about trivial things.

Aston Villa would surely be happy to pay more than eight million for the pair...

Ah yes, you are both quite right, and have in fact opened the age old dilemma of equal distribution. The better teams/managers are normally the most active, the most active snap up deals quicker, earn more money from game success or newspaper articles and this is then a self perpepuating cycle. Our problem is to equally distribute the players the more active players need to show a little patience, hold out for the right money (as Lee is) and when the teams who "value" the 20 skill forwards are in a position to make the offer, accept it. In short PI = Ni Si tue T
