Looking forward to taking on Valencia this week, reckon its a 50/50 game, both teams quite evenly matched, a win would put us in the driving seat for a play off spot, but the draw would keep us well in the hunt.
Schalke v Werder another big game with both teams chasing a play off spot.
Aberdeen desperately need to take three points this week or they are facing the humiliating prospect of relegation, they are far too good to be in this position.
Osasuna also chasing a play off spot will be looking to put a dent in Marseille's automatic promotion chances, otherwise they could end up with serious relegation worries.
Roma and Feyenoord will have to be at their best to take anything from their games this week, I expect Villa to secure the league title and Porto to take all three points this week .
Things starting to heat up !!

Going to have to switch things up and experiment a little, Marseille are a strong team and arguably are above this leagues level. I would take a draw now.
Elsewhere we need Aberdeen and Roma to lose ideally, but that looks fairly unlikely. Roma could pull something out of the hat against Villa

Roma wont be pulling anything out the hat in my opinion, I get the feeling Roma are playing for the drop and are already planning their assault on the second division, much the same as Ajax in the Elite league.

Going for the win this week as the playoffs look very tough will be hard to pick a winner from that group
Still have a very slim chance to push for the title so will be hoping for a good run in

Playing A TACTIC is hardly playing for the drop if I was then maybe play 3-6-1 A but if I stay up then happy days if I relegated not the end of the world

The drop would benefit your team regards ability points though, quite a young team you have. Playing 5 at the back would have gained you a good few more points, in fact the 4 times you have played 5 at the back you have won 3 of the games ! It goes to show you it gets you points, in theory this formation could keep you up, 5 at the back certainly turned my fortunes around. There are a good few teams playing their league positions in a tactical way, they all have a plan that spans a few seasons, some teams would benefit from staying where they are or dropping down a league, just like Rangers struggled for a few seasons with a poor team in the Elite league. Everyone has their own wee master plan

Feel kinda bad for Aberdeen, Dan gave me my pep talk when I was struggling and since then the tables have flipped, 1 point from a possible 21 over the last 7 league games sees the dons as one of the worst teams in Elite according to form.
Aberdeen are due some luck, having 3 midfielders out of the top four for assists in the division could have counted if they had a great striker to knock the chances away.
Keep the head up mate, reckon you will pick a few points up and climb to safety.

Thanks for the thoughts Gazza. I'll avoid going into a rant about the game engine, as others have done in the past... we've brought in a better striker for the last few games and he's done f-all so far. But perhaps the choice to rely on my home grown strikers rather than bringing in someone better has been the main problem. I've also not messed about with formation too much this season. Maybe at this level a bit more tactical thought is needed.
Anyway, we're not in the drop zone yet. Our last game is away to Feyenoord, maybe that will be a straight dogfight to stay up.

So a win against AS Roma sees me in the elite league next season & with a much better goal difference just about sees me as champions! This is a game that I want to win & anything less then a win & I won't be happy as the last two games are Valencia & Marseille.

Scott at Inter = Relegated.
So he know's how it is played?
Rangers 5 at the back = do-able?
Valencia in the play off's #scary
Playing our own game and not worrying about Villa or Marsiellle.

Yes I was relegated, and did I mutter the words "rebuild"? No I uttered the words "I am shit tactically".
You make yourselves feel better for underperforming by clinging to excuses that don't add up.
"Real Madrid got relegated..." That may be true, but if you think youre following in their path youre well and truly wrong, Chris is allergic to players over 24 rated for starters.
