A few surprising results in the cup this week, there always is !
Qualification is the aim and we go through virtue of our early season form which has now deserted us, well done Man United, deserved result.
Tough draw in the second round away to Marseille.

a lot of positives from this match, scoring four goals and qualifying in 2nd place, also two players getting skill increases and E_Adebayor continues with his goalscoring form hitting his 17th of the season
hard away draw in the 2nd round vrs FC Porto but i'd rather be in it than not
most results going to form this week, but as always a few shocks, Rangers FC, Real Madrid and Barcelona continue to underperform
but managers do make player changes for these cup matches and sometimes playing that skill 24 or 25 can make all the difference

Another win and another red card means we're being consistent.
Home to Tottenham in the next round is a good draw for us.

In short my team at home with a slightly weakened team were pumped by Man United who also played a weakened team away, the mind boggles. The cup is a minefield and results are mental sometimes, full credit to Man United as shocks go both ways over the seasons that have gone by, sometimes its just a lottery we have to accept.

Yip agree buddy, at least i would have expected Rangers FC to have loads more stats than there were, i could have run that fixture 10 times and probably 9 of them would have ended up 4, 5, or 6 nil, on this occasion the mind does boggle, thankfully it didn't stop you qualifying

Watched the highlights show, and wasn't surprised our game was put on last. A couple of players stood out on each side, and an own goal nicked us the points. Unlucky Dan, and good luck on your run. Indeed, the TV show got the order spot on, the first game was very unexpected, with the look on the home team managers face - priceless!

Lined up defensively, hoping to nick a goal, but we stuck it in the wrong end and couldn't find a way back. Frustrating to pick up an injury time red card. But I would definitely have taken 2nd place before the group stage, so can't complain. Well done Kaiser - an impressive performance in the group.
