Unlucky Juventus, got your tactics right, I went for goals and luckily knocked a few in, good wee season for us, Division one always a happy hunting ground, just need to step up my game and get it together against the big boys.
Juventus only one or two players away from a promotion/title wining side next season, chin up mate.

SP power their way into the Elite with a cracking late surge and send Werder down to Div 2.
As for us, the 541D has served us well for a few games and made sure we comfortably stayed up, but it's got pretty boring. To be honest I should have looked more closely at Arsenal's squad, as the players are no better than ours and we should really have taken the game to them. However, an away point at one of the div's strongest performers has to be good. And well done to Arsenal for coming so close to automatic promotion with a squad that's not quite up there with the likes of SP and Everton.
So overall happy with 7th, as good as I could have hoped for at the start of the season, some major holes in the squad to work on for next season.

Cheers Gazza, not often any manager is not disappointed with a loss, but with results elsewhere going our way, Here I am! Went for the first goal/shut up shop, but it went the other way - well played mate - surely enough quality for a top 3 next season, possibly a cup win, you've got the fire power to do it. Will be looking to shuffle a couple of squad players around pre-season, see how it goes. Happy to stay in div !...

As it happens a dull 0-0 draw was good enough for us as results went our way with both Juventus and Bremen losing, with the latter falling in to Division Two next season. Staying up was the aim and it's mission accomplished, now to plan for next season.
