Another cracking week in this very eventful season, it's almost as good as Elite for suspense.
First of all it was deeply satisfying to grind out a bore draw at the league leaders, it's been a few weeks since I've definitely played for a point and it's always a good feeling to frustrate a higher skilled opponent away from home. I'm pleased with that decision because it has kept us right in touch and fortunately other results went our way. Arsenal, like we did recently, found triple skilled Spurs unplayable and missed an opportunity to close on the leaders. Aberdeen went too cautious and couldn't overcome strugglers Porto even with a man over. PSG handed Newcastle a walkover but even so there are still three teams balanced on the brink of the drop, to join Villa and PSG who are surely going down. And a routine home win for Everton puts them right in contention at the top as well.
So with 5 to play, still I reckon any of the top 7 are in with a good shout of finishing in the top 2. Another cracking set of fixtures coming up next week...

A point away is better than nothing, but we have now slipped out the top 6 which is worrying going into the final five matches, but still 15 points to play for, we keep going and try and get into the play offs, really found Division One challenging after coming down from the Elite, but our squad has changed since last season, I think getting a really good keeper helps a lot in every division and that will be our focus pre season

One of our better games for the season to pull out a solid away win. Goal difference may be crucial, as it looks like 5 teams will be fighting for those 4 playoff spots.
