Absolutely over the moon with that as a way to round off a fantastic season. At the start of the season we were certs to go down, but have battled every week and managed to finish in the top half of the Elite. Once again our spoiling tactics were unplayable and Barca, with 3 up front and as many goals scored as the champions, could not find a way through. A clean sheet for Cambiasso in his final game in EFL too. Feyenoord are unlikely to ever be challenging for the title, but I am proud that our minnows are still swimming with the big boys.

We may have already won the title but I wasn't about to take it easy as I wanted to break the 50 point mark.
Thankfully we did what we needed to do with a comfortable 4-0 win, Phisbaena even managed to sign-off his great career with his final goal that was aptly a screamer into the top right hand corner.
Now we turn our attention to pre-season and starting to reshape the squad.

Well done mate! You made it difficult for us and grabbed all three points. You've had a fantastic season and deserved that one. We didn't really have a plan B, so we just go for it. Tactics are important when you don't have the strongest side, and you've worked those very well all season. Your finish has been brilliant which shows in the stats. Last five league games, you're third in the table with only Ajax and Celtic ahead. Unlucky Everton, who were always going to have a tough one against Celtic. Sao Paulo gave it a good fight and went all guns blazing against Santos. Could they have shut up shop after taking an early lead? They did the same later on and went ahead 2-1. Unlucky not to sneak that one. Santos definitely had the best of the play though, so a deserved win for them.

Dominant season for Neilson, 7 goals against says it all. Still massive favourites for next season, and with 1 or 2 30+ players in their squad, might be unstoppable on all fronts. At the other end, sad to see Everton drop, but nice to see Real and Osa stay up - pleasant company (points!) next season lol. And mid table sees Haldane get bragging rights over us - I think I've worked out where Maund is getting his stuff from anyway! Good season for Juve - mid table was our aim. Nice friendly last game, right result, and good performances from both teams.
