Really happy to have made it to the final and to have a chance to retain the trophy. As the only 'real' trophy in EFL this is a real honour.
Like Malky said in his email - we both haven't had the league season which we would have liked and this gives me the chance to end the season on a high going into the playoffs.
Have to respect Bryn massively - his Barca team have quality all over the pitch and a club destined for success with their Level 4 academy and 150,000 capacity ground.
Their starting 11 all have quality and the only weakness (if you can legitimately call it that) is that their keeper isnt 39 rated.
We have a tried and tested formula for the cups so I'm sure Bryn knows how we are going to line up at kick off - getting the first goal is crucial and if we can keep it tight we have a chance
