That win for Hearts has to go down as the surprise of the season. But I have to say there's many times I've gone 1 up, switched to D, and then ended up scoring more. Although not 3 more, I think. And again, you have to question why a team like Man City is only playing a lone striker at home against a weaker team.
Talking of D... a job well done for us. Grabbed an early goal then took the sting out of the game; Rangers had nothing much to offer so we were happy to sit back and pick off a second when the chance arose. With the Hearts result, the slow moving car crash continues for Steve as he looks on in horror. Surely the unthinkable can't happen...
And talking of which, it looks like both City and Santos are out of the automatic promotion race. A useful win for Santos, but at 7 points off 2nd with 5 to play, I think it's too little too late.
Good news for us as Inter dropped points at home... in fact they were outplayed for much of the match so it could have been worse. I don't really want to go up and get slaughtered again, but it's getting to the point where it would be rude not to fight for the title...
A great win for Lyon against 10 men, gives them a glimmer of hope if Rangers do continue to falter.
