I remember ISMFA where you could play friendlies on selected days, I think abs for the winners cup and non for friendlies is a good idea!
Lets you try out your new signings and have a tinker with tactics etc

For sponsorship, an improvement would be to have the choice between lump sum and performance based. Say:
10mill cash at start of season, or
3mill cash + 1 mill for every league victory + 500k for cup victory and another 3mill for winning the league.

Internationals: How do you decide who the "top 8" managers are? League Position? Games won %? Trophies won? Sheet %? Activity?
You cant - therefore every manager who wants a national side should be allowed one. Re-align all the player nationalities to fit into the 32 we can "manage".
Auctions: Happens already from Scouts
Reserves: One idea from:
Reserve Cup or
U21 Internationals on the 12 cup weeks? or
Scotland style reserves play each other home and away twice a season?
Training: Aswell as donating for ABs we can develop a "Centre of Excellence" pay EFL£ towards our centre. Work out a factor that means EOS awards are multiplied by 1.1 for £5m , 1.2 for £8m, 1.3 for £11m or something etc etc
Thank You

I like the training idea Garfy, but I'm not sure about the double fixture list for youths. That would undermine our current top players as youths would overtake them quickly. Internationals could be interesting too

Just had another possible idea, how about 24 hours before the transfer deadline malky could take all the unused scout missions that teams have left and use them to scout players of random ages and positions etc.
Then they could be auctioned off before the transfer deadline closes, should generate some activity?

ive said this one before, as every manager has the chance to use 3 scout missions, its kind of a waste to see so many not used, would be good to have some kind of transfer deadline day action with all the unused scout mission, even have division auctions so all teams have a chance on the day to get a 'good' player

I like the idea of spreading them accross the divisions, would make it interesting if as div 2 or 3 team got the next star player.

it would and if they did, they could cash in on that players demand and in turn help them improve with more cash

Auctions - surprised they still arent in the game. League sizes - if there were larger leagues I could be tempted back! Mentors - somebody needs to help Chris out
