Quick question - is it okay to just create a deal and send it though to another team as an offer, or should all offers be discussed via email or PM first? I don't mind either way but don't want to annoy people by using method 1 if it is frowned upon... (and dont want to miss out on deals trying to agree stuff first if others are just submitting offers directly....)

I'm getting more and more offers coming direct from the on-line system so it seems to be the preferred choice now. I don't see the issue really all the manager has to do is decline the offer if they don't like it.

I use both, quite like sending an offer through directly, it shows your intent, then the other manager can decide to accept/decline or get in touch to haggle.
It certainly seems the way to go, now we will receive email notifications as well.
You could even get lucky and get a manger press accept instead of decline.
I've even sent Peter some weed in the post to catch him out this way!

I was also wondering this actually. I think the tool is there so we should use it. Like Stu says its easy enough to reject. And as a lot of managers don't use the forum is an easy way to put an offer in.

Yes. Makes sense to me too.... REjecting is easy or sending a follow up message to haggle.

Personally I think it's a tool to be used so why not? the same as direct emails, PM's and the CHAT! You can make a cheeky offer hoping they click the wrong button or had a few lol but if you are confident the deal is a good un, in private with virtually a quick response especially with not so active managers, why not?
However, I think, I would prefer a bit of banter and haggling if honest! At least there's a higher % of things being concluded! But do see it as a bit of cold calling doing it on site, you never know?? But probably annoying as well lol
I had 1 offer made, done 10 myself and have 3 with no response at all!
Each to their own I think?

If they are still there, yes withdraw them by all means. If not, you needn't worry that they might be accepted accidentally EOS. Malky will clear out the transfer log, which includes all completed and pending transfers, before he opens up the market again next season.
