We can't complain too much about this week's results. Another suspension for us, but luckily we have the cup final which means Bale will be available for the league match against Santos. Well played Liverpool and a great effort from Ajax! A draw for Ajax would have pushed them above Porto and a bit closer to safety. Will Hearts get dragged into the relegation battle? I think Inter can consider themselves safe.

Another dismal result for me this week, I foolishly had it in my mind that I could have a say so in who wins the title, but Barcelona rolled right over the top of us, we competed well possession wise and had a few chances, but Barca have the big time players and an overall quality that have them a class above Rangers, well done.
Bayern slip up big time and will not be happy with a single point, but to be honest Liverpool more than held their own, Real Madrid scrape the win and stay right in the hunt, Barcelona now in pole position and look good for a league and cup double.
Any 2 from 5 at the bottom can join Rangers in division one, is a very exciting climax to the relegation dogfight.

As I've expected and said for a while the title will be heading to Spain and more specifically Barcalona.
We tried to stay at the top but not enough goals has cost us. We got an early goal but never put the game to bed and in the end have to be happy with a point. Going 2 at the back was a risk but we knew only 3 points would do.
At least I can now play my young lads and save the golden oldies for one last chance at silverware in the FA Cup.
We are disappointed but proud our boys held off for so long, when not performing at no way near top form.
Barca will win the last to games they are too strong and Ahmed really needs to look at himself, with the squad and funds he has he should have had this and many of the previous season sewn up, not good enough if I was on the Madrid board.

We spent over £150M on transfers this season. Hardly seems worth it if the prize for top spot is £20M! Ahmed may very well still win the league after only spending £40M!

I think the league title has more prestige than the prize monies and Ahmed could and should have been buying one or 2 of the players you ended up getting Only himself to blame if he don't win the title but if he was to win it then hats off to him but he really should have had it sewn up.

Really happy with the 1-1 draw, our form hasnt been good this second half of the season but still hanging onto 4th place which is some achievement for a club like ours, we should really be congratulated for our position this season as we will never have the resources of other clubs, to do that you must be successful and with the money build your stadium so a level that your gates are covering your wages and what you make in the cups is profit, i really admire clubs like Benfica, Lyon who have had a plan and stuck with it and are now seeing the rewards, we dont have a plan going into each new season as cash is low, so we have to replace retiring players with older higher skilled players if possible and try and compete, or should i say still in the division. but with being a big club not only brings more success it also gives your players more abs per match, were we are used to players gaining on average 20-40 abs per match more powerful club are getting stronger quicker.
as John says its not about the prize money for coming first, its all about the silverware, take Manchester City for example, im sure if they spent 200 million one pre season on players to win the league, they wouldnt actually get that back for winning the league in prize money.
we buy players whether a bargain or over the odds to win trophies, look at Bayern Munichs history! every manager whether there new or have been playing for a while can see at a glance who has been the most successful club in EFL, im sure no one can take that away from John.
lets not forget we are about to head out of season 19 and into season 20 of EFL and we might be just about to see Barcelona winning there first Elite Championship.
again Real Madrid have won the Elite League under Ahmed but when will they consistently start winning Leagues and Cups? Remember Bayern Munich have won a treble twice!!!!
so really Barcelona & Real Madrid with all there power and resources should be doing more each season and be in finals! if not then it cant all be down to bad luck can it?
i still think theres a twist in the tail yet, but agree its Barcelona's to chuck away now. there goal difference is too much, but look at Arsenal this week, lost there keeper in the first half and lost 8-1 due to having a skill 22 backup. what looked like a relegation escape now could be doom!
so all it takes is a red card or two and we all know Barcelona and Real Mardrid are prone to those or an injured keeper and anything can happen...
good luck boys

That's the main thing Ahmed that you're enjoying it pal. I'm sure your dominance that's been talked about for the last 4/5 seasons will come one day. Even with the few retiring from Barca, I think it will be very close between the pair of you next year and Santos still may just do you a favour on the last day.

Santos, is too weak to do anything now after he lost Tabata, I prefer to face Santos than Valencia to be honest, next match for me will not be easy and no surprise you will be back on the top of the league again

Loving All The Mind Games, Im Sure Each Manager Believes They Can Still Win This League, Had A Look At The Fixtures Again And I Dont Think Anyone Has It Easy, Depends On How The Opposition Line Up!

No mind games from me, you'll see a weakened Bayern team in the final 2 league games (unless my 2 amigo's slip up this weekend then I'll be back).
Barca are winning comfortably, so unless someone sets up 6-3-1D to try and nick a point, then Barca have the title.

It is anyones to win still. The only way we'll be comfortable in our final game is if we win and both Real and Bayern lose in the penultimate game. If that happened we could rely on our superior goal difference. I doubt that's a realistic scenario, and Inter and Santos are both showing some good form at the moment
