Just wondering why there is an extra step needed between an auction ending and the transfer being completed.
It seems a manager can sit on the deal for however long he likes, potentially stopping the selling team from using the funds elsewhere.
Just wondering if we can remove the final step where by the buying team has to confirm the deal (if it needs a button to be pressed would this not be better with the developer / admin etc.)?

That's a good point Pezza. The real reason is that the site doesn't do things on its own in the background; the routines only run when someone loads a page. So something has to happen to execute the routine that completes the deal. With hindsight this could have been done better, i.e. whenever there is any page load it checks whether there are any complete auctions and then moves the players immediately. I think we had one case last season where a manager did what you have described. In this case Malky gave him a nudge. I have a feeling he was away at the time so we had to force the deal through manually.
Is this a problem that anyone is seeing? If so, I can put it on the list to be changed.

I don't think it's a problem unless somebody is sitting on it for a reason (i.e. to keep a certain team out of the bidding for another player). Potentially it could have an effect.
