Rangers continue to slide, hopefully it'll come good for them soon. We got what we set out for, hoped to steal a goal but it didn't come. 6 at the back shut out Valencia tidily and gained us a valuable point. We have it all to play for with a couple of big games coming up with Marseille and Porto in the next two weeks, we just need to keep chipping away and get those points. Every point matters. Roma get a surprise result and look to be in form currently! Villa continue their good run Milan get a good result and hold off Bremen however it's already looking grim for them with one win from 8. Porto too should be picking up results and not be near the foot of the table, but were held by Schalke, who have matched our results. 3-3-2 Marseille got the result they should have, and Feyenoord look to be slipping down the table, finally with that team of theirs! For us, it looks better than I ever hoped it would, picking up these kind of points are the things that will help us survive and push for more. Just gotta keep everyone guessing with my tactics it's never ever the same

Yes well played Chris, disappointed to lose at home but we brought it on ourselves really. A well executed "Liverpool" by Roma and we didn't make any attempt to counter it, just kept on plugging away but to no avail.

Villa are proving that last season was not a fluke. Very impressive!

Built on a great keeper and solid defence, anything is possible for them!

Built on a great keeper and solid defence, anything is possible for them! Great keeper yes, decent defence including one pensioner, someone elses midfield and an average striker, I would say they are punching above their weight and if they are promoted they will have to depend on the kindness of others. No doubting their success with limited resources though, a job well done.

The pensioner along with others didn't concede against your mob, give you that on my midfield but thats why there is a loan transfer window and the average striker scored two. Not punching above our weight! I think we're a play off/automatic promotion team in this division with only Porto and Marseille having better teams then myself but both of which have under performed. If promoted I may need loans to come in but then also I might get money to buy the players only time will till. I've noticed there are quite alot of bitter managers when it comes to Villa, all I can say is unlucky and if you want any advice PM me I'm here to help

Still along way to go on this division, now the seasons are longer I'm hoping to have the strength in depth to get into the automatic spots

I will admit you have done brilliantly with Villa and the resources at hand, but I see no long term plan, the team have rode their luck due to the fact they have a great keeper, I doff my cap to the job you have done so far, and you may well bring in players to keep you in a strong position, that remains to be seen. I should be shot out a cannon for the poor results and lack of any real momentum regards my team, but hey it's up to me to pull my socks up and get my game back on and maybe stop moaning about the randomness that affects us all , but to be honest most my moaning has been in the spirit of banter and livening up things on a forum that sometimes goes quiet for a while. Next season after players retire and your loans return, every decent player in your 1st team are 30+ yrs old, you have a job on your hands fella !!

This game is driving me to drink, totally lost my mojo the last few seasons, nowadays Dillon suffers my rants !! I must be in the bottom 3 or 4 managers over the last few seasons, we are absolutely rank rotten, sorry I am rank rotten
