Benfica away should be one of the toughest fixtures for us this season. We battled out a draw when we faced them in the cup, but this is a far more important game. We'll definitely be aiming for a win as we can't afford to drop further behind Real. Bayern are hot on our heels so their fixture with Real should be very interesting.

Very tough game away to Santos who are just starting to find some form, not sure how I'll line up yet so will try and come up with a plan before Sunday.

Make no mistake Ajax are a top Elite League Team, this is there 5th season in the to league and could beat any team on there day! they are fresh from beating Real Madrid and will want to continue with a good win against us.
but anyone can score against anyone, be it an og a penalty or against the run of play, and thats where we hold on to the belief we can get a result against all the other teams in this division.
we have shown in the past as long as we score first we can pick up points.
we have a long list of very hard away matches coming up so every point will be crucial in our survival bid.
some seem to forget we finished 4th last season, which may show the inconsistency of everyone else as we did so by only winning 8 out of 22 games.
but we are being tipped by most for relegation again this season,

Toughest tie of the season, but one we need to win if we want to have any hope of winning back the Elite title. It's never been our goal to win the elite this season, but we'd certainly like to be in the running come the half way point, and at 5 points behind we are just about still in with a shout.
Would we settle with a point, well we wouldn't be disappointed but feel we'd be just kept at arms length by both the big hitters. We were unlucky to lose against the other Spanish giants but that is why they are giants they get the wins.
