Too close for comfort this week. Lyon proved more tricky than we expected, but we grabbed all three points. Looks like there's no stopping Real at the moment. Great result for Liverpool against Benfica. Are the new boys cracking?

Thought Barca were going to join us on the same points this week, but Lyon just didn't have enough in the tank.
Decent 3 points for us, the early sending off, proved enough as it should do, but at 1-0 it was still to close for comfort. An off day for our two main forwards but Vydra showing he can play a big part in Bayern's future.
I believe we are the meanest defence in EFL this year, it was Benfica before today and we've added experienced defender Deigo which gives us an extra option of 5 at the back and balances the squad more evenly with Kilbane going to Newcastle.

Ignore me about Deigo, not sure why I was thinking he's a defender!!

There is no surprise this week; we hoped for better luck to increase the gap between Real and Barcelona but never that easy. So next week will be the big one and we need to think about it

Massive 3 points for us this week after last weeks disappointing result, why is it when you expect a result you dont get it and when you expect a defeat you win?
Benfica will be very disappointed with this result and rightly so, at home to a visibly weaker opponent.
The big three pull away even more and Bayern Munich must be praying for a draw in next weeks big Spanish derby!!
Still cant believe Santos FC, Celtic FC & Ajax are not in better positions this season!

Very true mate, expected to be on the end of a defeat to Aberdeen today and was pleasantly surprised to sneak a win, would have taken the draw ! Ajax have a great team, surprised to see them struggle, Celtic will come good, that team will be immense when they reach their potential.

We our cheering a Barca win, we need to see a chink in the Madrid armour and although we hold no hopes or real belief of winning winning the league, we still have the desire to and real cannot get any further away.

Arse! That wasn't what i needed.... we never got going or looked like getting a result in this one which is dissapointing.
I might need to rethink my strategy for the remaining games or we'll end up getting relegated on current form.
