There's a massive gap between City and us in the league standings. That doesn't matter on the night. Scott's shown some promising form recently and an upset may well be on the cards. We have an injury at the back, but our plan was never to park the bus. Can't wait for this one.

Aberdeen are known to make it tough for anyone, and this will be no different. Okay so they beat my reserves earlier in the season, and even then it was a bit of a fluke result, more to do with them playing a large part of the game with 9 men.
So you can forget about that one, this will be a completely different game. Have Aberdeen got it in their locker to cause an upset, sure they do, but Bayern are firm favourites and we'll look to put this game to bed and book ourselves a semi final spot.
This is a cup we've disregarded a little in the past 5/6 seasons, apart from when we won the lot and it's been down the lists of priorities. However now we don't see ourselves as real title challengers, the cups are our main focus and our best chance of silverware.

The fear is the dreaded penalties if drawn, i think Aberdeen with a bit of luck could hold Bayern to a draw
Ajax to beat Santos FC
Celtic FC to beat FC Porto
Barcelona to beat Manchester City

A home tie, with the right negative formation and tactic should Hove you a high percentage of getting that outcome. Aberdeen have shown they have more quality and will fancy winning it in normally time I believe, as do we.

Not sure I like all this talking up of Aberdeen. You guys need to talk to Gazza about how to beat us, he is widely acknowledged as the best manager in EFL. We'll do all we can to get a result one way or another, but at the end of the day we know it's a slim chance for us.
Scott will already have purchased extra parking sensors, I suspect. Overall it's a great draw, with two potential banana skins and two more evenly matched games.

On current form I've no idea what to expect from this and would probably make Porto slight favourites. We're pretty evenly matched but they are in much better form at them moment so I will have to look at our performances this season to try and find a plan to get the best from my players.
Home advantage should help so I hope we can get through to the next round as a decent cup run may be what we need to get this season back on track!
Good luck Shaun.

After thinking about it I've made a last minute tactics change, hope it doesn't go wrong!
