Interesting set of results - happy to be back within touching distance of the big 3, don't see it lasting for long though with some tough games coming up..

Another disappointing week, but it is not the end, we still could do it this season we just need to try harder

Very good week for us with both our rivals dropping points. Is that the end of Barca's title defence? Madrid have to lose 2 out of 5 and Barca get maximum points, big ask of the champions!!
We move within one point of Madrid as the crunch game edges ever so closer. Although this set of results dosen't change much it does now leaves Ahmed with no room for error. Any more dropped points and a draw against the favourites on our patch could be enough.
Liverpool proved a tough opponent but as we thought they lacked firepower and it took an own goal to get them back in it, we might not be firing on all cylinders but we're keeping our unbeaten run going and sense a goal avalanche soon.
This season really has been way beyond what I expected but we've got nothing to show yet and now having come this far it would be disappointing to end with nothing.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting that result, I decided to concede the midfield battle and play five at the back but keep two up front in the hope of getting a goal or two and it paid off far better than I hoped! It was a pretty even game with few chances for either team which is what you would expect with both sides lining up with 5 at the back.
Luckily we took an early chance which went in with a bit of luck off of the post and then keepers back, after that we took a lesson from the Malky McKay School of holding on to a lead and switched to D. For once we had some more luck as the ref gave us a questionable penalty which we converted to put us two up before half time, after that we managed to see out the game and grab three points we never expected to get.
Hopefully this is a sign that the new signings I've made are what’s been missing and we've now added the required quality we needed to compete in this league.
Unlucky Bryn it was an entertaining game.

Happy enough with a 2-1 loss to Bayern Munich, you always worry about being on the end of a right good thumping and being the result everyone talks about all week, Munich should really be scoring more against us lower teams but at this stage im sure all John is wanting is 3 points.
we could still be dragged into the drop zone with five matches left, so next weeks away match to Everton is very important,
Blow for Barcelona but Celtic FC have a team that can beat anyone on there day, This week was all about Munich but, a few managers said they were worried about this round and one of the top three might slip up, its going to be a very interesting last five matches, week 20 Barcelona v Benfica and Bayern Munich v Real Madrid
Cant Wait!!!!

Hate to say this after a very disappointing season - but I had a feeling we'd edge Real this week - in the end we had to settle for a 0-0 draw...
Really can't see how this ended 0-0 - cuz the chances were there...
So now Santos have brought the top 2 together
It looks like Santos 'could decide the winners' if Santos go onto win against their 'bogey' team next week ...

Great week for Bayern as we slip up and Real drop two points. We're very disappointed to have lost our match, especially as we set out with tactical advantage trying to second guess what Celtic would do. Our setup should hopefully have kept a clean sheet with five at the back and C formation, but two unfortunate blunders sealed our fate. This is game over for us in the league, so we'll just be gunning for abs from now on and try to keep our fitness up for the FA Cup.
The relegation battle is heating up, and Ajax must be getting worried now after that defeat to Inter. I still think it could be any of the sides below Liverpool to face the drop. Looking at the form table, Ajax and Celtic must be worried ;-)

Santos first 11 are up with the top boys, so always a game you fear the worse, but as Glyn says we like playing against them and hope our fine run can continue.
