Not sure what to think about my 1st official game of the season. My squad is definitely better than the previous few seasons but I am focused on the league and promotion more than cup competition. Will take it as it comes I guess. Time to Try some new tactics I think

Hoping to repeat the success from last season and get passed this qualifying round and in to the cup. Club like this needs all the cash it can get and getting into the group stages and beyond is a great bonus to our organisation. Atletico Madrid is a team I should beat at home, but the away leg could be a challenge. All the teams in Div 2 have improved massively between last season and this, so every game will now be a big challenge.

I'll be taking all competitions seriously this season. Got to make it through this round to the first-round-proper. Not sure what to make of Utd. They struggled last year but seem to have a slightly stronger team than me on paper. Will need to rely on superior tactics from the manager. Home advantage in the first leg...we have to win this...!

Been some huge transformation at Arsenal over the summer, will be interesting to see how the new squad pulls together. The starting team hasnt been decided yet but we could be looking at 6 debuts tonight.
Squad wise, We probably shade it v Sunderland but who knows on the day...
