Is there a way you can encourage people to join when viewing the site as a guest?
Currently you can bring the forum up and whilst it displays the football areas, there is no info that there is more to the forum if you register.
Also, we want an auction!!! :-)

Just put a sticky on that section, that explains about the game, about the forum and benefits to signing up etc etc
Chris good idea but think it'll confuse people TBH

But as it stands guest can only see the world football chat near the bottom of the forum hence why I put the new Thing in for the guest's in that so that they can request paper if they want.
Any more ideas mate any help as always is grateful from anyone

As andie says, a guide to what this site is about, sort of like an "introduce yourself" page
why would a guess want the newspaper if they dont even know anythign about the game?

Just thinking out loud here, but since where trying to link the game to facebook! Why not have a facebook section, including games, hints, tips and addy's.
I can remember helping one of our managers on Mafia Wars to recruit players.
Thoughts?
