Very interesting group this, no mugs or easy games here.
At least I have two home games.
Think if I'm looking to go far a second spot finsh could be best.

Reckon my reserves can still get a result against Man U, who are certainly struggling with fitness all over the park.

As I predicted my reserves were far to strong for Man U's first team. Even with 10 men we still walked it, could be carnage when I unleash my first team against the new boys!
Very happy with the performance, however Thuram is still struggling to come to terms with playing for a big club, hopefully he will settle in the same way it took Gravesen a while to find his feet.
A draw in the other game is probably the best result I could have asked for there, away day at Hearts will be tricky next time out.

Well Hearts up this wkend, with no manager so not much fun.
But adds to the old dilemma how do I approach it.
Not sure anyone has well and truely mastered how to 100% play the N tactic, unless your name is BS Steve!!
Maybe that is why so many managers play it still.

Let's see how many lonesome posts I can create myself!!
Well that was bloody tough, even with Hearts down to 10 men it was always close, yes I had yet another weakened team out but still believe Hearts will be a strong force in their league when they find a new manager.
On the plus side I have a fully fit side for my trip to Old Trafford and I may have find an even better goal scoring attacking midfielder than Phelan in McSheffrey.
Strikers could do better but have never really shown it with all three up top.

Will continue fielding my reserves in my final group game with progression confirmed.
Harry still needs a point to be sure of going through, but will he go for the win to top the group and grab a home tie in the next round?
Not bothered if I finish top or second as my following two games are like for like, against Group G.
If I'm honest I'd probably prefer the home advantage at the quarter final stage but who's to say I'd get past a tricky away tie against Chelsea first?
