Should know this but I don't so can I have some help please?
When players are 23 skill (Gk 27) they are moved to main squad
Does this mean players at that skill and above CANNOT play for the reserves?
Cheers

Yes think you are correct, they move to the 1st team and cannot play for the reserves, unlimited aged players play for reserves but only up untill skill 23 outfield and skill 27 keepers.
Tries to play my reserve 1st team keeper in the reserves but not allowed to, i think playing any player in the reserves with no limits would give healthy competition to reserves also combined with the cash.
Would be nice and help develop 1st team players faster.

Thanks Gazza
I agree, but mostly with keepers. Say first choice keeper is 32 skill and second is 27, how does he progress to replace my first keeper when he retires?

I would generally agree but this then opens the game up to what I call cheating. Playing certain formations to enhance players quick time.
However I think one of the cups need an added spice and think adding the reserves teams would give that. Imagine my reserves go out and beat say Rangers first team, how much stick would Gazza get, it would also help us move our second string along, which I know we are all keen to do.

I think it's a great idea and would slighty lengthen what I think is a quick season, would only add an eaxtra round to the league cup Malky?? i agree with putting reserves into the cup
