cants ee you letting him go mate solely because his age betrays his ability unfortunately. Having said that, what exactly are you after?

Not sure really mate, but a player of this calibre with 2 and a half years left in him, could be the differance in making a team go from average to contenders. May hold on to him but defo willing to listen to what's on the table.

Your probably right mate, but as you know with Van the Man one player can make a big differance. Imagine Boyd down in the lower leagues, plenty of goals but then have them teams got the players I need or want? He may end up retiring at Munich, but he is in the shop window and will sure tempt many a manager but will they tempt me

THOUGH pre season some team with a spare few mil may offer you straight cash Think you may be right but when he's one of only say 5 strikers of his ability, he becomes more attractive. Think I may get offers with similar aged players in replacement but then that's not part of my rebuilding program. Money is not an option i have more than most, in fact i'd say I'll have the most come the end of the season.

true, but look at Gavilan at marseille, going to be 21yrs old and 25 rated next season!!!!
Then you have Nelisse at Inter and Pele at barca, both will be 19yrs old and 23 rated next season, so in comparison I would personally value your player at around the 20-25mil mark maximum, solely because any higher would mean that the new generation would be worth, in cahs terms anyway, around 150mil+
On a seperate note, you have 50mil in your bank, why havent you made offers galore? I know I wouldve been to every club with a player i liked and offered them a wedge if not all of it!

Probably not far wrong with your valuations and to be fair the youth players you mention are pretty much out of bounds price range, as I'm sure you managers would not sell. Don;t you worry I have peppered offers left right and centre for not superstars just average players and on the whole I've had no response and the odd rejection. Money doesn't hold much value, look at the scouted players they are of very average standard. A player like boyd on that program would carry a 60mil price tag, very unrealistic.

But look in real life, I bought Schulz for 60mil, if i were you mate id be after players from practically every team, then again, im a good transfer dealer ;-)

I think cash still has a value!!!! money talks after all, and i know if i had any of the top players and a 'big' cash bid came in , i'd be tempted...
after all it can set u up for other bids or scout missions or youth or increasing ur stadia.
