Tottenham have just annouced that Joaquin and Rags have just left the club to sign for FC Barcelona in a deal that brings in the following players
G_Zambrotta 29 ita 1 3 22 3 39 300 540 [glow=red,2,300]866[/glow] 574 13 4 905 0 0 0 2 15 1 1 0 2 0 0 98
and
F_Inzaghi who is only 27 years old and 24 rated
in a move that brings in a top striker in INZAGHI who will be at the club for many seasons to come. and with zambrotta fitting in midfield chris has done what he wanted in gainning a top striker and a midfield of at least 22 rated

I'm quite happy with this deal as well, although I would have preferred to leave it till the EOS, the risk of loosing Joaquin during this transfer window was too great a risk for us to take. This deal will see Pele return after a spell at Schalke to pair up with Hunt up front next season.

could not agree with you more scott, inzaghi is here to replace the retiring ronaldinhio after next season. i could have waited to end of season but i had two offers one from you which i would have gone for if this deal never happened, and the one barcelona and my self have been in talks with for a few weeks now. byrne seems happy with the deal and so am i.
