Our boys are struggling at the moment and are really not ticking but a wins a win.
In what was a very even match heading towards a draw and a gr8 point for Chelsea, I wiped off the poor RVN and introduced our new signing who instantly built a good partnership with our other young striker and both scoring within minutes of being thrown together.
Somethings got to spark or we could find ourselves in deep trouble in the coming weeks.
But we're unbeaten without getting out of first gear, so maybe we should look at it as a positive and welcome league leaders Barca to the fortress

Well after saying this was a must win I bottled it and played D. I thought Hearts would rest a few players (as Pezza had stated) but didn't realise it would be this many... with most of their stars missing we managed to score two goals while playing D and got the win. Suddenly we have a real chance of going through, but Chelsea away will be just as hard.
So I reckon that's 4 lower division wins this round. And not a single draw. Amazing results for Celtic and Atletico. (And Schalke...)

Liverpool 4 v 1 EvertonProbably the best scoreline ive had in EFL! scoring four goals isnt something Liverpool do but IMO we dominated the match, our five man midfield ran the show and we created 25 chances during the match 26 key passes vrs 13 shows on the day we were the better team! to be fair Gareth did play a weakened Everton starting eleven while we played more or less a full strength Liverpool starting 11! but you can only play whats in front of you! would prefer if it was forwards scoring instead of two defenders but again we cant complain! next up in the Elite FA Cup is away to out of sorts AS Roma

Lyon 1 - 0 AS RomaHuge win for the division 3 French side against division 1 opposition and a genuine cup shock. We decided from the outset to be more positive and we took the game to them. We dominated possession from the outset and although shots on and off target were very even i think we were good value for the 3 points. Good to see hot prospect striker Stefano getting his first of the season. Shame he couldn't quite get the abs to push him over the 23/24 rated borderline. A few more this season and he could be difficult to hold on to next summer. Also pleased to keep D_Stanfield quiet on his return to the Stade de Gerland. This result gives us a genuine chance of progressing, although considering i have two more div 1 sides to play that may be overly optimistic.

Rangers continue to improve and are turning in some decent performances, played well enough and set up just about right to fully deserve the win, my midfield seem to be playing well at the moment and we seem transformed.
Spurs suffered a few injuries , but the game was over by half time, a good start to the mini division, 1 win away from going through to hopefully a good wee cup run, something Rangers haven't done for a good few seasons.
Unlucky Steff.
