Wow, Hearts really do have my number!!
Can't call the double lucky, I think Dan's keeper is key!!
Must progress in the FA Cup now!
Well done Dan

Brilliant win over Santos for my lads, very unexpected, changed tactics and rested a couple of 1st team players due to fitness issues, Santos dominated the stats, but my team played very well and took their chances, great to progress and i am hopefull of a decent home draw.
Unlucky Santos, extremely unfortunate.

FC Porto 1 - 0 AC Milan after playing them in the league the game before i was unsure what to play and what they might play, so tried few different tactics during the game. dominated the possession with 64% and limited them to 1 shot on target. was a little nervy with it taking so long to break them down, but we got the goal and its nice to go through to the next round and it was this young lad Juanfran getting himself on the score sheet again, makes it 2 goals in 3 games for the first team

Well a bit more of an even game this time, and we got the win. So two wins out of three for Aberdeen in the Pittodrie mini-tournament, but I guess Harry will be the happier manager, having got the 3 league points.

Aston Villa 1 v 2 Liverpool
Happy to get into the 2nd Round, never easy playing any team away from home and to be fair Villa are playing well at the moment but with plenty of fitness issues, we puffed and panted but bar a late goal it was a comfortable win, with Bayern Munich and Santos FC both out the draw might be a little kinder to us, Real Madrid favorites now?

Juventus 1 -3 Lyon
Juve rested a lot of first-teamers for this one - clearly focusing on the league this year. We decided to go all-out for a win in the hope of a bit more prize-money, some extra abs and hopefully a home draw in the next round. You can only beat whats put in front of you and we definitely deserved this one. We were well ahead on attempts on goal and possession and it was nice to see us bag 3 goals - with 3 different scorers! Young reserve striker Muniesa even came off the bench to claim a goal. Hopefully we can carry this confidence into next weekend to try to get our first league win! With so many of the big teams putting out reserve teams in the league cup, we're hoping to go a bit further in this one. Marching on to the Bernabeu...!

Not too worried as the cups were never a priority this year, well played Theo.
