Liverpool 1 v 2 Lyon
very unhappy with the result and the performance! we had a home match to finish with in a group where all the hard work was done in the first two matches! we have let ourselfs down, the club and the fans!
no excuses, we had a full squad out there and one that had been playing well and scoring goals,
ive got to take some of the blame as i changed the tactics around at the last minute and tried something new! think i was trying to play like Santos FC
so big congratulations to Lyon and good luck to all in the 2nd Round........

Woo, that was a tough group to win, we were looking like going through on goal difference until we scored and it was to tight with Hearts only needing a goal to send us out, so we really needed our goal.
Very hard luck on Aberdeen who had the better of our encounter and deserved the draw that would have sent them through.

Yes, tough to be going out only on goals for, in a group which had a lot of twists and turns. We held on for 73 mins against the league's best team, yes we played a containing game but we that very well, not just letting them launch attacks and weathering the storm. It must be frustrating for Bayern to face games like this so well done to them for stepping over this banana skin.

Liverpool 1 - 2 Lyon
Another great cup performance from our boys! It's our 3rd division 1 scalp of the season and considering the group we were in i am chuffed we got through. I don't think any of the teams in our group took it lightly and i think we probably deserved all the points we got.
Everyone came through the game unscathed so we can hopefully carry this form into the league and really push for promotion too.
Great to get some extra prize money and more abs and we continue to battle on 3 fronts.

Defeated by a very handy Schalke side, although we had most of the chances and most of the possession we just couldn't break them down, so well done to Scotts team for their victory and to them for topping the group. Rangers scrape into the next round and that's all that matters, will gladly take the 1st defeat of the season at no consequence to my aspirations.

Osasuna 0 - 2 FC Porto Job done is all i can say really. was up against the D tactic but we managed to score an early goal............ well the first action of the game in the 15th minute anyway lol, then got a second in the 21st minute thanks to an own goal. as for the stats, we limited them to no attempts lol. we got 2 on target from our 3 attempts and we just shaded the possession. very happy to get through

Good start from our boys! went 1-0 up, changed it around and it looked very promising! Then we went down to 10 men and lost our keeper through injury in the 44th minute, nothing more I can say or do TBH.

Double substitution in the 6th minute, and owing to the red card played most of the game without a striker! In a way it almost worked, Stonewall didn't have to get his gloves dirty throughout the whole 2nd half, except to pick the ball out of the net in injury time. You have to think that maybe Bowaski would have saved that! But at the end of the day a draw would not have been enough anyway. Ajax gave United a masterclass.

Really didn't expect to qualify from this group so over the moon to see the result from Monday puts me through to round 2! Just tried to keep it tight and not be stupid and it paid off.

We tried to just contain the game for the first 75 minutes and go for a push in the last 15. Our plan worked very well, but Valencia have been unlucky with the red card and keeper injury. As usual, we had our customary red card too
