FC Porto manager not been too busy during the final week of the transfer window, was a few deals offered out by the manager and a few received. With several young strikers on the books and Joe Mason close to being 23rtd with Rodriguez also likely to hit 23rtd end of season with youth bonus'. It would give the manager 3 backup strikers behind main Strikers Adebayor and Amauri, so Winzor decided to try and shift 1 or 2 of the backup lads. In the end a cash deal with Juventus was accepted for Mason which turned out as the only transfer for Porto.
1 other deal was in discussion for top striker Eusebio which Winzor was going to allow the very talented young striker Adebayor leave as part of the deal. Winzor has always been very reluctant to sell his young star striker but thought with Amauri also young and JanFran set to shine in a few years he could allow him to leave.
Winzor also rejected offers coming in for some of his young talented players who he has been progressing in the reserves for the future, and also offers for 1 of his other prize assets Riquelme who he has always said he will never sell with not many attacking midfielders of that quality in the game.

Close but no cigar!
Offered a few deals, some direct and others via PM but very little to be fair! I think the deal I offered Santos was the deal? but no joy either!
All in all I think Liverpool did good business during the closing transfer days and possibly Bayern as per, things might be interesting come EOS with the big boys doing some big deals amongst themselves!

Decided to wait till EOS (never saw some offers until the deadline had passed)
