Going to have to put out my strongest team, in order to give us the best chance of progressing. Not many harder places to go in EFL and Andie will be trying to out think the master for sure. The First of 2 quick visits to Spain!

Lol As soon as I seen the fixtures for both the league and cups I knew I had a slim chance in the league and no f-ing chance in both cups pmsl so it's buisness as usual for me, promote the fringe players, sort out injuries, suspensions and any fitness issues we have for our next league match!

Your next match is against me, so resting players for the league doesn't work in this match, only the next one, where I think you'll be hoping to progress. Plus I know you won't give in without a fight.

After seeing my league fixtures I must admit if I had to pick my cup games myself, it would be Bayern at home on both occasions! Not because I think I can win but the revenue would be massive and very very much needed cash injection for us! A sell out crowd is guaranteed!
Plus if you are going out of the cups? Why not to the Mighty Munich?? Makes life a lot easier!

Lyon v Aberdeen - plenty of rivalry between these two basement battlers. It's a travesty that Lyon are propping up the EFL, with a squad that wouldn't look out of place in Div 1. Just looking at their cup scalps last season... Lyon 1 - 0 AS Roma, Liverpool 1 - 2 Lyon, Lyon 2 - 0 Real Madrid, Barcelona 1 - 3 Lyon, Juventus 1 - 3 Lyon... not a bad haul. Anything could happen here. But with already, sadly, nothing to play for in the league, I expect Neil to put out a full strength side.

I was indeed looking at this, good job you pointed this out, had picked a team with a view of resting a couple in the FA Cup match, might have to juggle it up a bit more. Cheers pal

Interesting game this one, not sure what to expect from Liverpool, they seem to be doing v well in the elite league so far - should be an interesting match up.

Lyon v Aberdeen
Once again locking horns with Dan. Hoping the division 3 league leaders will have 1 eye on their big match at the weekend against Feyenoord. Looking good for promotion this year so they might not fancy a cup run. We on the other hand still look a year or two away from promotion so will be going all out to replicate last years cup success.
Tough one to predict tactically and tough one to predict for the neutral. Could go either way. Hopefully home advantage will swing it in our favour.

Away to Schalke, potential banana skin, wouldn't be a massive shock to go out , so will have to be on my guard , Schalke are a good team and Gers will have to be at their very best to go through. Not had a decent cup run for many many seasons , so will be going for the win
