Working out which Bayern will turn up this week? Or more to the point how is John going to approach this game?
Bayern are through to the next round regardless, so does he do the smart thing and play his second string? It only takes a lengthy injury for 1 of his stars and it literally could turn their season up side down!
Or will they come out all guns blazing? And absolutely batter us to restore a bit of pride after they crashed out of the league cup?
Either way I think we will have our hands full, but then again I do have an idea how he might approach the game, so it might? Work in our favour??

We could play for a draw and hope Celtic do the business against Juve, but they're already out so they might not field a strong side. So do we hope to cause an upset against one of the biggest sides in the league...? The visitors have Tabata back for selection, and apart from one missing striker are fighting fit.

This isn't a priority for us so I'll be trying to sort out the fitness of my first team.
I'll still play with a plan to get a result though but it won't be a full strength team.

Lyon v Sunderland
Not the pushover it might have looked at the start of the season. They are playing very well in the league so to guarantee qualification we will need to win.
Mathmatically hearts aren't through yet so hoping they put a decent side out against Schalke....although if the Germans cause a shock and we can get a win, we could end up topping the group...!

A game I need at least a point in, only trouble is Marseille are no pushovers and are in form in this competition, I need them to bring their league form to go through, being away makes this game very hard for me to get something. Lose and I go out, I just know it !! Have a few fitness worries, but as it's Marseille, I want to get one over them again !!! Shutting up shop and playing for the draw Reverse Psychology. Marseille are through so they will probably play their reserves anyhow , yay

Won all my cup games this season and already through in this group so will be resting a few players but hoping can still get a reult to hopefully gain some momentum and silence gazza a bit after our shocking league game, but will be an under strength team so if you win gazza , call it a gift

Gers want to beat you three times this season, so we can keep you and put you on the mantelpiece

Looks like I need to better Spurs result against Real Madrid in order to get through to the next round. Don't want to rely on others results going my way though so will be focussed on getting a win against Villa. Will be interesting to see how Villa play this one, second place is not out of reach for them but would need a big goal swing...

Fitness is an issue for my guys after our great win in Madrid, so a few guys will be rested with an eye on the league.
Still hope to have enough on the field to grab the point we need to win the group, will Valencia have an eye on winning the group or just focusing on taking the point they need???

We have made 7 changes to the team that won mid week, so it says a lot really?
