Valencia v Benfica
Not going to lie, we are going to struggle yet again this season! Just hoping the game engine throws all those freaky results our way for a change LMAO
It's always nice to kick off a new campaign in your own back yard, but think Benfica are a solid looking team and will be hard for us to break them down if honest, never mind everyone else this season. Very limited in our attacking options so we might have to manufacture those much needed goals? But we are at home so might as well play the advantages lol

Osasuna v FC Porto
the start of way too many away games to start the season off, we go on to another away league game after followed by an away cup game then home in the league followed by an away cup game and an away league game. bit of a joke really....... think I need to raise some cash to pay wages as my 1 home game and couple mil in the bank will not cover that.
does not end there neither....... away in the league cup too and away in league again after that. WTF.
can I make a complaint to the EFL board? lol.
so to clarify- league away league away cup away league home cup away league away cup away league away
1 out of my first 8 games are at home. that's just ridiculous

Remember there are no wages for midweek games, i.e. league cup. I don't think you should rule out raising it with the EFL board - fixtures get rearranged in real life, why not in EFL. (Slippery slope though.) Then again the board may point to the 35M you've spent pre-season. But if that was spent before the fixtures were published then you might have been put at an unfair disadvantage.

How do clubs get to this point surely every club can save a bit of money to pay wages, you get enough sponser ship and winnings that should see you through but some managers just like to spend every penny then go into debt and wonder why

Never in the whole time i have played has my team gone in to debt. As stated my gates have always covered my wages for more than 2 weeks. Not sure how many other teams would be looking at this any differently if it was them as pretty sure must are no better off start of season except the obvious money bags teams.

There's only 2 or 3 money bags around but most of that is from winnings
Me I haven't spent in the transfer market for a few seasons as been spending all my cash on stadium increase to make sure I don't get into that situation but if managers want to spend money on players up to them just stop moaning about it
Wasn't having a go but when people are saying there hard done by on the fixtures they have you no this could happen, think Valencia had mostly away games start of last season so not an unusual thing

And Valencia were home in their 2nd and 5th league games...... so quit with your false information to try look clever
